Unfortunately i dont have pics but last fall at Pismo Brett was having a "fun" time getting his SSHD stuck in the sand. I kid you not we get out there and within the first 10 seconds after we started heading off the beach and into the dunes areas he got stuck. Funniest damn thing I've ever seen. I pulled him out and got a good laugh at his expense. Few minutes later, does it again. I gave him shit for it again but he got me back later. He got stuck again (notice a trend here) so i tried to pull him out but in my infinite wisdom i choose some soft sand to pull from......buried the Z71 half way up the rocker panels.....oops. It gets better though, so the the guy Brett brought along with him (i think his name was Ryan but i cant remember) borrows a lifted Duramax from someone to give us a hand and pull us both out. In doing so he managed to break the custom tailgate on the Duramax, knocking it off his hinges. I honestly felt bad that it broke but I wasnt about to stick around when the husband of the lady that owned the truck came back so i got the fuck out of there.

    ooops....

I high centered, I looked at it from the drivers side and it looked like a gentle drop. What I didn't realize was the passenger side was a a large drop off. oh well, 4wd wouldn't get me out of it either

The gate was a loading ramp/gate that was supported by a mount that went into the receiver hitch. Well since Ryan figured that was pretty sold he wrapped the tow strap around the support. Well guess it wasnt as solid as he figured and because of the stress on it, it broke the mounts where the gate attached to the bed.....oops.

Ill draw up a diagram of the gate later and post it so you can get a better idea of how this gate was designed.....its kinda hard to describe.

we've had a solid week of rain and I had to pull my trailer out today to move a couch for someone.

Went up to get it and as I drove through what appeared to be damp solid ground ended up being a mud pit. Doh...

my neighbor came up in his 99 24v and gave me a few tugs and couldn't get me out. My other friend came up in his NNBS and gave it a few tugs then one of the local guys up there ended up bringing his tractor up there to yank me out.

Most the time,If you know you're stuck and don'tkeep trying, You won't get to muddy.

Side note, Dad got his ford 2wd 150 stuck today, So I got to go try out the new tow shackels on the front. They worked great. No breakage. But no pics, Since I had no way to take any.

the body is clean but the under carriage is caked in mud. I gave it a quick try to get out, only could rock it about a foot forward and backwards so I gave up. It took a tractor to pull me out of it. It was pretty deep

The Silvy gets stuck probably twice a year in the snow. When you're plowing it's sometimes hard to tell that snow is getting deeper, and if you're backing up you'll be in too deep and no way to tell. If you're plowing with it down going forward, soon as you're in deep snow and that blade rises up a little, ho boy you better back off or it's gonna take a damn dump truck to get ya out. Luckily a friend of mine has a good long winch on his Kodiak, so he just sets the ebrake and gets me out. In return, i keep his driveway clear after every snow Click here to enlarge

As for the Blazer, it's 2WD currently (Rcars hopefully will be doing the front differential this spring for me) because of a fucked front diff. Therefore if i get a snowball in front of the wheels i'm screwed.
